Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your information
Effective Date: September 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how HOA Complaints & Violations Center, LLC, doing business as HOA Crimes (“we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our website, submit a form, chat, call, text, or book a session. We are not a law firm, and nothing here is legal advice.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you give us and information created when you use our site:
- Contact details: name, email address, and phone number.
- Details about your situation: your HOA or community name, county, the issue you describe, and any documents or messages you choose to send.
- Records of calls, chats, and texts with our team and our AI assistant, which may include recordings and transcripts.
- Booking and payment records. We do not see or store your full card number; payments are handled by our booking and invoicing provider.
- Website usage data: pages viewed, device and browser type, and referring page, collected with cookies and similar tools if you accept them (see section 5).
Please do not send us Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, medical records, or information about children. What you share with us is not protected by attorney-client privilege.
2. How we use it
- To answer your questions, book sessions, and provide our services.
- To prepare your written materials. Our staff use AI tools to summarize what you submit and draft documents, and an advisor reviews them before anything is sent to you.
- To contact you about your request by phone, text, and email, as you have agreed.
- To measure and improve our website and, if you accept cookies, to advertise to people who visited it.
- To keep records, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run our business, when you ask us to, or when the law requires:
- GoHighLevel (LeadConnector) for forms, scheduling, calls, texts, email, chat, and invoicing.
- Supabase for our secure database, and Vercel for website hosting.
- Anthropic, our AI provider, which processes the text you submit to help our staff generate summaries and draft documents. We do not use your information to train our own models.
- Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, only if you accept cookies. These receive information about your visit and may receive events such as viewing a page or starting a booking.
- Professional advisers, and authorities where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We do not share mobile phone numbers or text-message consent with third parties for their marketing.
4. Calls, texts, and our AI assistant
Our assistant, Joan, is an AI. Calls, chats, and texts may be recorded and transcribed, and we tell you at the start of a call. If you consent on a form or a call, we and our AI assistant may call and text you about your request, including with automated technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time. See our Text Message Terms.
5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We ask before we load analytics and advertising tools. If you choose Decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. Our chat window and booking calendar are provided by GoHighLevel and load when you visit a page, so that provider receives your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies, whether or not you accept analytics and advertising cookies.
6. How long we keep it
We keep case information for as long as we need it to provide our services and for reasonable business and legal purposes, then delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see section 8).
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including access controls, encrypted connections, and limiting who can see case records. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as Florida law requires.
8. Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of texts by replying STOP or of emails with the unsubscribe link. Email help@hoacrimes.com or call +1 (561) 878-0507 and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can. Some records we may need to keep for legal or dispute purposes.
9. Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
10. Links to other sites
Our site links to government and third-party sites. We do not control their privacy practices, so please read their policies.
11. Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new date. If a change is significant, we will make that clear on the site.
