Terms of Use

Please read these terms carefully before using our services

Effective Date: September 19, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and the services provided by HOA Complaints & Violations Center, LLC, doing business as HOA Crimes (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website or booking a session, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are and what we do

HOA Complaints & Violations Center, LLC, doing business as HOA Crimes, provides general HOA compliance guidance to Florida homeowners: a live call with a human Compliance Advisor and written materials that help you understand your notices, organize your documents and timeline, and prepare your own next steps. We are not a law firm, a government agency, or a private investigation service.

2. No legal advice and no attorney-client relationship

Nothing on this website or in our calls, messages, or documents is legal advice, and using our services does not create an attorney-client relationship. Our advisors are not attorneys. Only a licensed Florida attorney can advise you about your legal rights or whether you have a claim. Our materials are general information and are not a substitute for an attorney, especially if you face a lawsuit, a lien, a foreclosure notice, or a large amount of money. Deadlines in those situations can be short.

3. Our AI assistant and your communications with us

Our assistant, Joan, is an AI. Joan answers calls and chats, answers general questions about how our service works, and books sessions. Joan cannot give advice. Your Strategy Session is with a human Compliance Advisor.

Calls, chats, and texts with our team and our AI assistant may be recorded, transcribed, and stored. Florida requires the consent of everyone on a recorded call, and we will tell you at the start of a call. If you do not consent, tell us and we will not continue the call.

By giving us your phone number and agreeing on a form or a call, you consent to calls and texts from us and our AI assistant about your request, which may use automated technology or an artificial voice. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. See our Text Message Terms.

4. Packages, fees and payment

Our fees are one-time payments. We do not sell memberships or subscriptions. The current packages are the Strategy Session ($89), the Records Request Package ($149), and the Complete Action Kit ($249). The two add-on packages are offered after your Strategy Session. Prices are shown before you pay. Payment is processed through our booking and invoicing provider.

  • Fees are pre-paid and non-refundable once your session or package is booked.
  • You may reschedule a session with reasonable notice.
  • No part of any fee depends on an outcome, a result, or your satisfaction.

5. Documents, letters and worksheets

Action Plans, letters, checklists, and worksheets are general-purpose drafts prepared to help you organize your own situation. You are responsible for reviewing them, completing every placeholder, deciding whether to use them, and sending them yourself. We do not file or send anything for you or follow up with your association. Where a package includes deadline reminders, we remind you of the date, and acting on it is up to you. Laws and deadlines change and depend on your facts, so read the current statute and your governing documents, and consider having a licensed attorney review a document before you rely on it. You may use our documents for your own personal situation only.

6. No guarantee of results

Outcomes depend on your association, your governing documents, and the facts. We do not promise any result, including a reduced or dismissed fine, access to records, a payment from an association, or a particular response to a letter.

7. No private investigations

We are not licensed private investigators. We review the documents you give us and public information, and we do not perform surveillance, access restricted databases, or represent ourselves as law enforcement or a state agency.

8. Your responsibilities

You agree to give us accurate and complete information to the best of your ability. You are solely responsible for the decisions you make and anything you send or file. Please do not share Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, medical records, or information about children with us in chats, forms, or calls.

9. Confidentiality and privacy

We keep your information confidential and use it to help with your situation. It is not protected by attorney-client privilege. We share it only with the service providers that run our systems, including our booking and messaging platform and AI tools, when you ask us to, or when the law requires. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how it is used.

10. Third-party links and referrals

We link to official sources and to third-party services, including a legal-service provider, for your convenience. We do not employ or supervise attorneys, and we do not endorse or recommend any attorney. We may receive compensation if you use a third-party service through a link on our site, and we say so where the link appears. Using any third party is your choice, and their terms apply.

11. Payment problems

If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us first at help@hoacrimes.com so we can try to resolve it. If a payment is disputed with a bank or card provider, we may give the provider records of your booking and our communications to respond.

12. Disclaimer and limit of liability

To the fullest extent Florida law allows, our website and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Changes

We may change or stop offering a service, and we may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new date. If we cancel a service you have already paid for, we will contact you about your options. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute about our services will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Pinellas County, Florida, and you and we consent to those courts.

15. Entire agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the website and our services. If a part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
